117 FOOD CO. OUR STORY For Josh and his wife, Mandy, food has always been more than just a meal. With years of experience working in restaurants and a background in wedding catering, they have always shared a passion for bringing people together through good food. In 2025, that passion took on a greater purpose. During a trip to Guatemala, Josh and Mandy visited two orphanages and connected with a ministry serving vulnerable children and families. Deeply moved by the experience, they felt called to start a food truck that could help support the ministry and its work with widows and orphans. From that calling, 117 Food Co. was born. Our name comes from Isaiah 1:17, a verse that reflects the heart behind our mission: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” ISAIAH 1:17 (NIV) Our mission is to combine our love for food with our calling to serve others. Profits from 117 Food Co. will go toward supporting this ministry and its efforts to care for widows and orphans.
